Urologist on the Uro-Gynecological Outpatient Clinic of the Salzburg Women’s Clinic
I work as an urologist in the uro-gynecological outpatient clinic of the Salzburg Women’s Clinic. During assessment of urination dysfunctions, dysfunctions of the pelvic floor, dyspareunia or lower abdominal pain, I find repeatedly in the detailed anamneses, that these complaints could originate in the patient’s sexual life. In the training in sexual medicine and to become a sexual therapist, I am learning to recognize these correlations and how to help the patient with these problems thorough sexual-therapeutic conversations.
