Target Audience: General Practitioners, Interns, Residents, Specialist Doctors or Assistants in training in gynecology and obstetrics, urology, andrology, dermatology and venereal diseases, internal medicine, oncology, endocrinology, pediatrics, pediatric psychiatry and psychotherapy, psychiatry and psychotherapy, psychosomatic medicine, etc. who meet the following prerequisites.
Entrance requirements:
At least 3 years of clinical experience.
Basic education in psychosomatics (i.e. PSY I-diploma of the Austrian Medical Board or the (national) equivalent).
Entrance interview with two instructors of the Academy.
Completion of the basic module.
Educational Goal: Sufficient knowledge of sexual medicine, experience and proficiency to independently diagnose and treat sexual dysfunctions.
Covers:
70 hours theory and practical exercises for obtaining competence in treatment
40 hours thematically centered Balint groups
60 hours thematically centered personal experience
60 hours sexual medical clinical case studies seminars carried out by accredited instructors
20 hours anamnesis, initial consultation and treatment supervision
